Looking for Warhammer 40,000 without the pressure of hardcore competition? This July/August Casual Play League at Heroes World is all about flexibility, fun games, and community—while still giving you goals, standings, and prizing to play for.
Familiarize yourself with the new 11th Edition rules by getting in a ton of games. Test out new army lists. Or even new armies! This league is perfect for hobbyists, beginners, casual players, and anyone who wants more table time without strict formats or list stress.
How It Works
Entry: $100 (all games included for two months)
Army Size: Totally flexible!
Play 500 or 1,000 points—just agree with your opponent
Play as Many Games as You Want during the league period
Final Standings: Determined by league points
Tiebreaker: Total Battle Points scored
Final tiebreaker: head-to-head game
Simple, Fun Scoring

Musical Chairs! — Play four different opponents

Playing Hooky! — Play a weekday game before 5:00 PM

Ugh, Work Week Again! — Play on Monday or Tuesday
These bonuses reward variety, hobby progress, and just showing up to play. So you don't have to win all your matches to win the league. Nor do you have to play a ton of games to win the league. There are many ways to win!
Prizing
50% of the total player buy in will go towards prizing. Final prizing structure will be determined by the number of players. Here is an example with 8 players:

Prizing could be extended to top 8 depending on the number of players.
