The Latest Comic Book You Should Be Reading is: The Punisher!

Frank Castle aka. The Punisher returns to comics with two very deadly new series!
Marvel ain't messing around this time, as they are not for the faint of heart. These are not PG13 Punisher comics. Frank returns in the pages of The Punisher: Red Band and Marvel Knights: The World To Come: The Punisher.
First up, as the title suggests, The Punisher Red Band, is a bloody graphic depiction of what the Punisher does. The warning is front and center, and every issue is poly bagged. Benjamin Percy and Julius Ohta are the team behind this book. It starts with an explosive revelation: The Punisher doesn't remember who he is, but oh does he remember what he does and how he does it! Percy writes some moments of levity, that remind me of the classic Punisher: Welcome Back Frank. Plus Ohta's detailed art style makes you wince at times.
Next up is Marvel Knights: The World To Come: The Punisher by Jimmy Palmiotti and Dan Panosian. Set in the not so distant of The World To Come, we find a grizzled older Frank still waging his war on criminals and the cartels. While trying to stop a deadly new drug from wreaking havoc. The Punisher takes the fight to the source, only to become the latest victim of the new drug!
These two stories are back to basics Punisher! Frank Castle with a skull on his chest, taking the fight to the lawless crinimal underworld. In both these series I can't wait to what happens the bad guys find out why Frank Castle is also known as the wrong brother to f#@/ with!
Punisher Red Band is out now with issue #4 releasing on December 31, 2025. Marvel Knights: The World To Come: The Punisher issue #3 releases on December 10, 2025. So it is not too late to jump in on these two exciting titles.
