Modern Horizons 3 Prerelease
Prerelease event on Friday June 7th at 6:45pm and Saturday June 8th at 10:00am.
You can also have your own prerelease at home with our AT HOME option. At Home option can be shipped if you need! At Home/Take Home option also receive the 2 participation play packs.
Modern Horizons 3 brings a heaping helping of exciting new cards to Modern, one of Magic's most celebrated formats. Whether your players haven't picked up a set in a while or are card-slinging veterans, there's something for everyone to love.
Prerelease is your community’s first opportunity to get their hands on the newest Magic: The Gathering release and explore what the set has to offer, and Prerelease Packs are the perfect product to fuel the first events of this new set.
Format:
Sealed Deck (MH3 Prerelease Kit)
3 rounds of Swiss-Style Pairing
(50 Min Rounds, Best 2 out of 3 games)
Prizing:
Every Participant receives 2 Play boosters in addition to their Prerelease Kit!
There will be limited prizing for top finishers dependent on attendance.
Prerelease Kit Contents:
- 6 Modern Horizons 3 Play Boosters; each Play Booster contains 14 Magic cards
- 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
- 1 Magic: The Gathering Arena code card (only available in select regions)
- 1 deck box
- 1 Spindown die
SEALED DECK - PLAY RULES/MODIFIERS
Unlike constructed games—where you arrive with a strategically created deck—Sealed games have you build a new deck from six unopened booster packs. Additionally, you may add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) as you’d like, even if they weren’t in the booster packs you opened.
- A minimum deck size of 40 cards
- Sideboard for your deck is any of the cards you opened
